How Does Picture Perfect Pets Train ?
Dog Training Boston MA
Let Picture Perfect Pets teach you the gentle, positive dog training techniques that will allow your dog to follow your cues willingly and enthusiastically. Although use of a clicker as the initial reward marker during your dog training program is encouraged, positive reinforcement training techniques can be tailored to suit your specific goals and needs. You do not absolutely have to use a clicker as part of the Picture Perfect Pets dog training program. Correction collars (such as prong collars or choke collars) are NOT used in our training program.

In general, here's the process:

1. You'll learn to elicit behaviors from your dog without having to physically force the dog into positions or behaviors.

2. Once the behaviors are reliable, you'll attach hand signals and verbal cues to them.

3. Finally, you'll learn how to refine the behaviors and keep them strong throughout your dog's lifetime without needing to be a walking cookie jar forever!

At Picture Perfect Pets, you will not learn to merely "control " your dog. Rather, you'll build your relationship with your canine companion as you learn to communicate in a way that will help your dog stay safe and enjoy spending more time with you throughout a variety of daily activities. Whether you have a young dog starting out with a "clean slate," or an older one that may have already developed some "bad" habits you'd like to modify, Picture Perfect Pets can help you.

However, preventaive dog training is a lot easier than fixing "bad" behaviors once they have become habits . . . So don't delay!
