Francine DiChiara is a Massachusetts native. There has never been a time when a special dog (or two, or three!) was not a part of her life. She is the proud "mother" of three rescue pups, an ABC (Animal Behavior College) certified dog trainer and honors graduate, a Northeast Animal Shelter volunteer and volunteer trainer, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from The College of Communication at Boston University with a BS in Film and Television. While living in Los Angeles for five years and working in the film industry (credits include PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 2 & 3, TRANSFORMERS, and SEX AND THE CITY: THE MOVIE), Francine got involved with volunteering at various dog rescue organizations and shelters and found this to be an interesting and incredibly rewarding pursuit to which to devote her time.
After seeing a great need for education about positive training as well as the need to make shelter dogs more adoptable and help them to form better relationships with other family dogs, she decided to become a dog trainer. She interned under Bette Yip during her ABC program and is super excited to be working with Picture Perfect Pets to bring positive dog training techniques into your and your dog's life!
